I would be lying to you if I told you that I thought I would be here writing my 387th column, 188 days after GamerGate got it’s name. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always said this would be a years-long project. I just had no idea that I would be so involved with it at that time. But, here we are. The last six months haven’t been perfect. We’ve all made some mistakes, myself included. But I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

To all the friends that have stuck through this with me, I thank you. To the ones who didn’t, I thank you as well, because you have contributed just as much. Without all the doubt and hate, I don’t think I would have made it this long. On that note, I guess I should thank the SJWs, too (lol). Without your daily fuckups and hypocrisy, I doubt any of us would have gotten this far. You feed the fire with your missteps, as always.

Our biggest accomplishments over this last half-year? There are so many that this is by no means an exhaustive list. But here are a few notable ones off the top of my head (and in no particular order):

I know I’m leaving a lot of stuff out, and I encourage you to add in any important stuff I forgot down in the #BasedCommentSection. The point is, we’ve gotten a lot of good shit done. Even in the midst of the biggest media onslaught in modern history, we’ve still persevered. That’s something to be very proud of.

The thing that really makes me swell with pride, though, is the alternative community we’ve created. Six months ago, we didn’t have the tools to fight these bastards. Now, we do. Sure, we’re still in the embryonic stage. There’s a long way to go. But the foundations we’ve built will serve us well in the future. We stand in opposition to the attempted SJW takeover of gaming, and we’re not going anywhere.
