The fake news media has been taking quite the beating as of late. To start off with, they created the fake news term themselves, thinking they were going to use it to beat sites like mine over the head with. Instead, it was turned against them so viciously that the Washington Post begged their mongoloid readers to stop using the term. In short, it was a total disaster. So, I guess they decided a new offensive was needed.

What better way to lend yourself credibility than to get a bunch of airheaded celebrities to pimp your dying “news” operations? After all, it worked for Hillary Clinton. Oh wait, that didn’t work. Well, it worked at the Electoral College! Eh, that didn’t work either, did it? It worked to delay Trump’s inauguration, though, right? Ummm, another fail, huh.

It’s almost like people are tired of celebs giving them political marching orders.

Still, I feel like it’s absolutely certain to work this time, people.

Reporters, activists and Hollywood stars like Mariska Hargitay and Ben Stiller started to promote #PressOn Wednesday morning.

“The very concept of truth is under siege, so journalism is more important than ever. Subscribe to an outlet & tweet your receipt,” Jordan Brenner tweeted to kick it off.

Yea, the guy who rubbed fake jizz in his hair on Something About Mary is certainly who I want telling me what to read. I’m sure this will turn around the failing fortunes of the dying “news” media in no time flat!
