Before I go to sleep today, I wanted to write a simple editorial. There’s no breaking news here. I’m just going to offer my thoughts on the bullshit #ChangeTheCover “movement” before it becomes too fucking old. Also, I stole this cover from one of my haters on Twitter, so let me offer them a hearty hello before I begin. Thanks for supporting TheRalphRetort.com, bitch ass dude.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, or actually have a life outside of the Twittersphere, let me give you a short recap of the situation. Last week, rabid SJWs got pissed off, as they are wont to do. This time, it was over a cover for an upcoming Batgirl comic that happened to depict The Joker doing fucked up shit (seen above, with my logo). I know, this is news to some of you, but Joker is a homicidal maniac who often kills, tortures, and maims various individuals in the DC Comics Universe. He’s not a nice guy, and he’s supposed to be doing things like fucking with Batgirl in extremely sick ways.

If the SJWs had their way, all creators would cave to pressure like this. I’m aware that they claim not to have bowed in the face of public pressure, but frankly, I think that’s a smokescreen. Regardless, this one only one battle in the larger war. The people who want to end pornography, snuff out rap music, ban violent video games, limit speech, end online anonymity…they’re are all the same fucking people. Yes, there’s some exceptions here and there, but it’s all a part of the same mindset. “I don’t like it, so it shouldn’t exist.” Well, that’s horseshit.

Were fighting these people in gaming because we love our hobby and don’t want to see it ruined. DC Comics bitched out and pulled the cover, of course. As we’ve seen, their industry has been hit hard by the SJW plague. It’s exactly what will happen to video games, if we let it. Hell, it will happen to TV and movies as well. The Internet is censored in many parts of the world as we speak. Don’t make the mistake of thinking it can’t happen here. Complacency in the face of an aggressive foe is foolish. You must go on the attack. Slash and burn.

They want to get in our face? Get in their fucking face. Hold them to the standards that they preach, and if they step one inch out of line, expose it. Ridicule their outlandish positions. Controversialize their psychotic mouthpieces. It’s not hard, since they do it to themselves, a lot of the time. But the activism part of all this is important. Most of their victories come from quick mobilization and early issue definition. We have to stop letting them set the rules of debate and engagement. At least, that’s my view on all this. We’re in a good place now with GamerGate. It’s woken a lot of people up. This fight isn’t going anywhere, though. It’s only just begun.
