CRAZY DEMOCRATS: Charlotte City Council Member Says Trump Supporters Have No Place In Government
Dimple Ajmera, a member of the Charlotte City Council, said on NBC’s Flashpoint that Trump supporters should not be leading local government. The newly appointed council member was getting worked up over President Trump and his supporters, saying
Republicans that are supporting Trump, they should have no place on city council whatsoever or in the mayor’s race.
Ajmera was born in India and came to the United States when she was 16. She attended Southern High in Durham and the University of Southern California. As for her work experience, Dimple worked on the Charlotte Housing Authority board before being voted into the council to replace John Autry in January. I think Dimple knows her term is only 11 months so she wants to make some waves. I didn’t know anything about Ajmera before today so at least she’s getting her name out there, and what better way for a Democrat to do that than cuss a bunch of Trump supporters. As Charrlotte’s first Asian-American City Council member, she probably feels the pressure to accomplish something during her term. However, I think she’s looking beyond just these next 5 months. Ajmera is currently running for an at-large seat on the council. I hope she doesn’t get it.
When asked about her comments on the show, Ms. Ajmera said
(Charlotte) rejected Trump in the 2016 elections. So people are upset by what he represents. He values divisiveness. We can’t let that divide us as we tackle important issues like economic mobility and as we address the issues of last September.
It’s funny, she talks about unity while telling Trump supporters to fuck off.
In response to her comments, members of a local republican group are planning to stage a sit-in protest at a Charlotte City Council meeting. When republican’s get angry, they protest peacefully with a sit in at the council meeting. Good thing Ajmera didn’t say anything about any leftist groups or there would be some broken shop windows right about now.
