The other day on the LIVE show, we got to talking about a recent case here in the United States. What happened? Basically, a former NFL cheerleader had sexual relations with a 15-year-old boy. That’s pretty much the gist of things. Sky News had a piece on it a couple days ago. Here’s how they reported things:
A former NFL cheerleader has been sentenced to two years of probation for raping a 15-year-old boy. Molly Shattuck, 48, pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree rape just days before her case was to go to trial. The ex-Baltimore Ravens cheerleader was accused of raping the teenager last summer at a holiday rental home in Delaware.
Shattuck wept on Friday and apologised after the judge handed down a suspended 15-year prison sentence.
“I was the adult, and I’m sorry,” she said. “I will spend the rest of my life making this right.”
Shattuck must report every two weeks to a probation officer and register as a sex offender under the terms of her sentence.
I mentioned this story on-air, and made some crude comments about it. One of those was something to the effect of “I would have loved to fuck this chick when I was 15.” I still hold that view. I simply cannot imagine being traumatized in this situation. But, this is a possible mental bias of mine. Perhaps the teenage Ralph inside me just remembers all the hot older women he dreamed of boning and refuses to let me accept the grave nature of this type of crime.
I still said that cases where older women get off easy for raping young boys proves that our judicial system is completely out-of-order. That didn’t stop one of my loving fans from dropping his two cents in:
Fair enough. That’s what I said, though. Women who rape kids should get punishment that’s on the same scale as men. I agree with that completely. That they don’t, is a national scandal, or at least it should be. You don’t hear the rad fems talk about this female privilege though, do you? It’s funny how that works.

Shattuck, according to court records, had connected with the boy – a minor not legally capable of consenting to sex with her – over social media earlier that year. The boy was friends with her teenage son, and the same age as him. Over the summer, police said in affidavits, Shattuck and the boy exchanged sexualized texts and emails, and occasionally met in parked cars.
The mother and father of the victim asked Superior Court Judge E. Scott Bradley to sentence Shattuck to more than just probation time.
“What she did to my son is heinous. The fact that she paraded her pedophilia in front of her own son is even more disturbing,” the mother said. “Any adult who rapes a child deserves to be in prison. Please hold her accountable.”
Their pleas fell on deaf ears, as the judge gave her probation and two weekends a month in a work-release center. Very stiff punishment there, judge. It reads like the very definition of a slap on the wrist. While I have a hard time imagining being traumatized by getting some prime adult pussy, the law is the law, and all offenders should be treated the same. At this point in time, they aren’t, and that’s a damn shame.
