I was sitting here very early this morning on Twitch, streaming Battlefield 4 with my friend Brewskiebob, when the latest uproar within GamerGate occurred. People were saying that /ggrevolt/ was some sort of shill operation being run by IRC users that have been known for secret initiatives, and the like. Folks were even trying to throw me into the fire, even though I have nothing to do with /ggrevolt/, outside of enjoying their no-holds-barred style of moderation. As I sat there and gave a few thoughts in between tank blasts, I struggled to find a reason to care. That’s not like me. As most of you know, I’ve been fighting the internal political battle inside GamerGate for about a year now. But the thing is, I’m played out on this shit. I just don’t give a fuck about that stuff anymore.

So, I’m not going to be running anymore columns on what GamerGate means, or how we should proceed. There’s not going to be anymore calls for unity coming from me, either. Do what you want, read this site or don’t read it. Abandon the tag and delete your Twitter. I just don’t care about what other people are saying or doing any longer.

How many times can we have the same conversations? How many times can people be called shills? If you’ll notice, I’ve tried to not use that term since 2014. It’s a joke and means nothing at this point. Even if you think it does, I don’t care about that, either. Take it up with someone else. I was asked to go on a stream tonight and discuss all this, but I’ve declined. I have nothing against the organizers, but this shit is pointless. All it does is drag on the drama a little bit longer and I want no part of it. Ecelebs who do nothing can continue to wring their hands and sperg out if they wish, but leave me the fuck out of it.

I’m just going to keep doing what I do, writing about SJWs, myself, and my favorite allies. That’s the part of GamerGate I enjoy. The internal politcal games have always been a drag on my psyche and they’ve done nothing to advance the cause, ever. I only participated in the first place because it felt like I had too. I’m one of the leading voices for a certain type of supporter, so I felt I owed it to them. I no longer feel that way. I don’t owe anyone anything, but I do owe it to myself to stop participating in the nonsense. It’s not good for me and it’s not good for GamerGate. Plus, I just don’t want to do it.

So, take this for what it’s worth. I’ll still respond to liars and cheats, as always, but as far as trying to steer the discussion goes, I’m not going there. I’ll continue to write about what I want, but I’m not interested in debating about it as it relates to GamerGate. If you don’t like what I’m doing, too fucking bad. Leave and never come back. That would be the best advice I could give you.
