There’s been some crazy shit go down during my time running this site. We’ve seen a ton of headcases over the years, from Leigh Alexander (our first) right on down the line. Actually, Leigh seems downright reasonable compared to some of the other nutters, like Brianna Wu. But one thing that gets to me even more than those goons, since they can’t really help themselves, is the way the media spins the news. The latest example is a Trump supporter in El Cajon who got his MAGA hat stolen while also catching a slight beating last night.

Disturbing video footage shows a man being surrounded and beaten by a leftist mob because he is wearing a “Make America Great Again” Trump hat.
The incident occurred yesterday in El Cajon, California during a ‘Black Lives Matter’ protest.
The clip shows leftists (always eager to display their tolerance when it comes to diversity of opinion) verbally abusing 21-year-old
Feras Jabro and demanding he leave the area as they chant “f**k Trump!”
Within seconds, one of the agitators smacks Jabro in the back of the head.
“You ain’t being attacked, you asking for trouble,” claims one of the agitators.
“I was just hit in the back of the head simply for the hat I’m wearing,” the Trump supporter responds.The leftists then try to steal Jabro’s hat as they become more aggressive.
The Trump supporter is briefly pushed to the ground as more agitators attack him. He tries to leave the area as they pursue him.
Jabro then screams in panic as the agitators begin to beat him while he lies on the ground.“Get the f**k out of here!” BLM protesters scream as Jabro attempts to leave.
This whole thing is fucked up enough, but what makes it worse is how the media is spinning it. Take a look at this headline on an ABC video:
Oh, no big deal! He was just jostled a little bit and it was his fault anyway, right guys? It’s not like he was in fear for his life or anything. Besides, free speech is only for #BlackLivesMatter, everyone knows that.

The purported Trump backer, who was wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap — the slogan of Trump’s campaign — later claimed to reporters that he was “cornered, I was beaten to the ground. When I attempted to run away, I was chased by the entire mob of people.”
He “claimed?” What do you mean, claimed? You can see him get stomped and robbed of his hat right there in the video. You can bet your ass that if this was an anti-Trump person in the same spot there would be no qualification. The media would be wailing all over the place and crying about how Trump promotes violence. When it’s something that goes against their narrative, though, the story is framed in a completely different way.
It’s shameful.
