Melissa Click is a delusional goon who represents everything wrong with higher education here in the United States. In fact, given her recent statements, she’s even more delusional than I previously thought. Just take a look at her recent interview

But while the video of her screaming at a student went viral, turning her into the Melissa Click, the confrontation on a quad during a protest here last year really wasn’t that remarkable, in her mind. The assistant professor of communication at the University of Missouri was just doing what other professors and administrators were doing there, too, she says. So why did she lose her job?

She has one idea. Under pressure from state legislators, she says, Missouri’s Board of Curators fired her to send a message that the university and the state wouldn’t tolerate black people standing up to white people. “This is all about racial politics,” she says. “I’m a white lady. I’m an easy target.”

Actually, anyone who acted as foolish as you did would have been bounced as well. Did it help that you looked completely unhinged and came complete with problem glasses and a hairstyle from 1983? Perhaps that made you easier to caricature, sure. But who’s to blame for that? Certainly not me or one of your many other critics. When you examine the reasons why you got fired, you should begin and end with yourself. Then again, that would require honest self-reflection and some measure of taking responsibility for your own actions. Since you’re an SJW ideologue, you are unlikely to undertake either one of those exercises.

Actually, you are the racist, not us. Who else but a racist would fall back onto the race card when faced with being fired for just cause? I am unaware of anyone bringing up your race or the protests itself when calling for you to be bounced. What they did discuss was your complete and utter disdain for the press freedoms that make our country so great. Since you have a background in communications, one would think that you should know this intimately, but I guess your racial grievance politics take precedent, don’t they Ms. Click?

You’re a disgrace and the University of Missouri is better off without you. Unless you show some real contrition (highly unlikely) you should never again hold a job in higher education.

Goodbye and good riddance.
