I saw this story on Saturday, but I got caught up with the LIVE show and forgot to write it up. Then yesterday I was just being a lazy fuck, but it’s Monday now. So, let’s get back to the grind. KSI is a really famous YouTube dude, and though I’m just now getting into that scene a little bit, even I had heard of this guy. But the first time I was alerted to his presence (again, I didn’t YouTube much lol) was in column on Kotaku that was full of hang-wringing about his videos. He’s been catching shit for years, is what I’m saying. You all probably know about that already, though. So, what’s this latest barrage all about?

I’ll let the SJW-corrupted Guardian tell you all about it:

Olajide Olatunji, better known as KSI, whose YouTube channel has more than 10.2 million subscribers, has been criticised by a coalition of women’s groups for denigrating victims of sexual violence and propagating misogynistic views by calling women names including “sluts”.

Days after the publication of KSI’s debut book, I Am A Bellend, the women’s groups are calling for YouTube to remove the 22-year-old’s “rape face” videos. The videos show the star in a variety of settings, turning to camera with a menacing expression and making sexually suggestive gestures…

Three years ago KSI was banned from attending Eurogamer Expo, the UK’s biggest video games showcase, as a consequence of his sexually inappropriate behaviour towards women…

Sarah Green, of the coalition End Violence Against Women, said: “Trivialising and minimising rape contributes to a culture where rape is not taken seriously, and where survivors of rape are told that what happened to them doesn’t matter. YouTube, KSI’s advertisers and his publisher and other partners should consider whether they want to be associated with that kind of content.”

Later on in the post, KSI’s handler notes that he stopped using that term, and no longer considers himself the same kind of artist. He apologized and has tried to move on. Personally, I think that was his first mistake. Fuck apologizing to these rad fem nutters. Why? Well, it’s simple. They see any sort of accommodation as an admission of guilt and they will beat you over the head with it for the rest of your existence.
I don’t make rape jokes. I just don’t think they’re that humorous. There’s no big moral thing there. My motto has always been, “If it’s funny, it’s funny.” So pretty much anything is fair game for me. It’s not about anything being off-limits, because I don’t believe in limits when it comes to comedy. If it’s offensive and not at all funny, you will know rather quickly. We don’t need SJWs to police this shit, the people will tell you. If you look at how successful KSI has been, I would say those same people have spoken. Speaking of the people speaking, let me know what you think about this one while I go work on the next post.
