WHITE TRASH: New Orleans Mayor Lied, Sent Confederate Statues to Literal Trash Heap Instead of Warehouse

I would like to say I’m surprised, but I’m really not. New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu promised to relocate the Confederate statues he had removed to a warehouse, but that warehouse turned out to be a literal garbage heap. It’s truly touching to see this Democrat’s love of history.

Straight to the garbage pile. This is pretty much a disgrace. More on the situation as I receive it.

    >MUH RACISM cries the racist.

Those who don’t remember the past will repeat it. Honor your history or you’ll repeat it.

    • Lost Question

considering that social justice types want to bring back segregation, & racism. they are far beyond not remembering the past.

      • Celerity

That’s true. The problem is they’re making sure we don’t remember.

Especially funny since an alternate name for history is social studies. You’d think that’d be their thing.

  • StephaneDumas

I wonder how these moonbats will reacts if folks from pol/4chan/8ch/etc…. decide to vandalize Lenin statue in Seattle or even ask to remove that statue? Push a bit more and 2 people can play that game.

    • Silence Dogood

      There’s a WHAT WHERE?! Must… resist… urge… to vandalize.

      • Grust

If I said something stupid will that take your mind off of it?

        • Lost Question

probably not. toppling a lenin statue is worthy of a historic recreation. plus the reaction from the commies and soc just cultists would be epic (i’m almost sure a couple heads outright would explode)

          • Grust

Good cuz when I hear SJWs talk all I hear anymore is blah, blah, blah. I’m either too stupid to understand them or smart enough to be unable to comprehend them.

          • Lost Question

my theory is its neither you being too smart or dumb, but rather they don’t bring anything new once you have heard the standard social justice talking points everything after is repetition maybe they use a different word or two but it’s always the same thing over and over hell the 90% of their shtick can be boiled down to appeal to emotion/virtue signal, then slander/accuse bigotry, &.repeat, or block

    • ExiledV2

decide to vandalize Lenin statue in Seattle or even ask to remove that statue

We should. Lenin, like the Confederate traitors, was an enemy of the US Constitution.

  • Mr0303

Despicable. You know who else destroys historical monuments? ISIS.

    • And Bolsheviks, too.

(What did he mean by that?)

      Came to say that

  • Uncle Max

I’m calling for an immediate ban on all things New Orleans. They are a tourist city. They depend on conventions and parties. I don’t like “bans”, but I think it’s fair to ask for folks to reflect on respect of history or not. I hope New Orleans suffers the Mizzou-effect.

Just wait for the next hurricane season.

  • Silence Dogood

Oh, if he wasn’t getting death threats before he’ll be getting them now. Those things are EXPENSIVE pieces of HISTORY. They deserve to be preserved and contextualized. That motherfucker is going to need around the clock protection now.

    • Grust

He better pay well otherwise, who’d be so loathsome to protect him. Maybe an SJW, but if that’s his protection, he’s screwed.

    • ExiledV2

Those things are EXPENSIVE pieces of HISTORY. They deserve to be preserved and contextualized

I don’t see the point of preserving the participation trophies of Confederate traitors. The glorifying of the Confederates is the reason why we have the liberal socialism of the Democrat (Confederate) Party today.

      • Silence Dogood

Those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it.

        • ExiledV2

An aphorism that hasn’t held true, since history doesn’t actually repeat. History is like any other equation – if you have x factor with y force and r, s, t influences, you get z result. Doesn’t matter what’s been done previously.

          • Silence Dogood

Uh, we are are quite literally reliving the racial tensions that plagued America back in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. It comes in decade swings because people refuse to shut the fuck up about it or to learn anything about it. Fascism is legitimately on the rise in some parts of Europe because after a decade of austerity and migrant violence and crime ANYTHING is starting to look better. In the UK there’s a puritanical push by the Tories/Conservatives to restrict the Internet and ban pornography, which is a recurring theme. Peoples behaviors absolutely run in circles because humans, as a lot, aren’t terribly fucking bright or self aware.

      • Botiemaster

traitors? That’s a harsh word to use to describe people during a civil war. I also fail to see any glorifying of confederates taking place. Do you mean statues? Which are the only thing the confederacy ever got out of the civil war? I can’t remember a single movie that was in favor of confederates. No video games glorify them. What glorying do you speak of?

Statues and history books help us remember our past and where we come from. Only faggots waste time being offended by the confederates. They tried to save their way of life and were beaten because they were ill prepared to do what they tried to do on a whim. It’s not like they were hitler. If not for them and african slave labor market, America would not be what it is today. We may very well have never reached the industrial age that jump started the world as we know it today. For better or worse we owe a debt to the people of that era of all skin colors. To forget them by destroying our statues and removing history from text books is unthinkable, all because a fraction of America gets off on political correctness. And in the end it’d have been an even bigger disgrace when said PC people get older and start to realize how fucking retarded PC is and will no longer have the time or care to focus on forcing a way of life onto others.

I agree the democrats would love nothing more than for us to be slaves to government and government become this sort of royalty thing. I just don’t know how glorifying of the confederates comes into play. I bet most all people can’t even tell you the name of the general on that horse, if he’s a general at all, and that it’s even a statue of a civil war confederate. I mean seriously, lol. If they are trying to glorify the confederates, they sure are failing hard. To most people it’s just a civil war statue and it’s there and whatever. Only faggots cried about it because it’s cool in their world to do it so they did and here we are. The statue is in a fricking junk yard. It is a disgrace and this mayor will be the butt of all jokes in the future.

        • ExiledV2

traitors? That’s a harsh word to use to describe people during a civil war.

I don’t think so. In any civil war, you are either loyal to the current constitution/founding document/monarch of your country or you are opposed. If you are opposed, you are a traitor to the current constitution/founding document/monarch.

The Confederates were opposed to the US Constitution, setting up their own. Thus, they were traitors to the US Constitution.

I also fail to see any glorifying of confederates taking place. Do you mean statues?

The participation trophies? Yes, that’s part of it. There’s also the whole myth of the “honorable” and “noble” South, which any true Southerner (like myself) will tell you is a load of it. The Confederates weren’t noble or honorable. They were scheming, grasping traitors looking to establish a dictatorial police state. They admitted it, in their own writings, speeches, and legal documents.

When the Confederates are mentioned in US history, they should be treated like the Rosenbergs and Benedict Arnold. Instead, they’re worshipped for rebelling against that “dishrag”, the US Constitution. I find it disgusting.

Only faggots waste time being offended by the confederates.

I’m not offended by them. I just assign them their appropriate place in history. Right there with other traitors to the United States.

To forget them by destroying our statues and removing history from text books is unthinkable, all because a fraction of America gets off on political correctness.

We’re not removing any history from the textbooks. The statues are being removed just as Russia removed all those statues of Lenin and Stalin.

It’s very simple: Who was right? Were the Confederates and Confederate Constitution right? Or the United States and the US Constitution right? Choose an allegiance.

          • AnonMuser

Hear, hear! I’m sympathetic towards the Confederates because they were the underdogs, and the Union were Big Government statists, but they were traitors nonetheless.

But then again, treason is the defining characteristic of America, a country of traitors, built by traitors, for traitors from around the world (initially from England though). The only difference between George Washington and Jefferson Davis was that George won his War of Treason. Too bad the British cost-benefit analysis decided American territories were not worth fighting over. They almost made the same mistake with Canada.

The true patriot was Benedict Arnold.

  • Grust

The instant I’ve been hearing about these statues being removed, I knew this was going to happen.

  • Typical

Again, war heroes and generals should not be glorified, so I really don’t see a problem with this. It fuels people’s belief that war is a glorious thing rather than something to be avoided.
