This is the man being fingered by multiple reports on Twitter (including from La Stampa, an Italian media outlet) as the man behind today’s cowardly and heinous attack on the UK Parliament in London. Reports are also stating that the attacker has died.

This seems to have been seconded by a report from a cameraman on the scene. Again, at this point, it’s still unconfirmed:

How come he’s well known, you ask? Well, it’s because of stuff like this…

“Kill the British police” was his refrain here. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened today as one officer was killed while trying to stop the attacker.

As the cameraman said, Brooks is indeed well known to police…for a good reason.

More on this as it comes in…

UPDATE: Again, these are unconfirmed reports at this time…

Yet, we’re still seeing conflicting reports. Needless to say, someone is wrong here…

This is almost getting comical, except for the tragic circumstances surrounding it.

Sooooo, I don’t know what’s really going on at this point.

I’m hoping we might get official word sometime soon, but we’ll see. As you can see, things are all over the map.

Here’s a fresh statement from Channel 4…

I still haven’t seen it 100% confirmed, but it looks like this guy is actually in jail judging by the pushback. It was a wild day to actually get to that point.

UPDATE: The real name of the attacker came out this morning…

The man believed to have carried out the attack in Westminster has been named by police as Khalid Masood.

Kent-born Masood, who was shot dead in the attack, was not the subject of any current police investigations, but had a range of previous convictions.

The 52-year-old was believed to have been living in the West Midlands.

The so-called Islamic State group has said it was behind the attack, in which PC Keith Palmer, Aysha Frade and US tourist Kurt Cochran were killed.
