I saw an interesting tweet come across my timeline this morning, and I wanted to talk about it. It concerned some comments that Jerry Seinfeld made recently on Colin Cowherd’s radio show. He didn’t hold back. In fact, Seinfeld pretty much shit all over the politically correct culture that has infested college campuses nationwide. He was speaking in the context of comedy, but we know it doesn’t end there. That’s only one symptom of this rot. Still, it’s a very important one, because no-limit comedy is one of the major engines of a robust free speech society. When comedians complain about these things, people should listen.
Here’s what Jerry had to say about the way college life has devolved over the decades:
“I hear that all the time. I don’t play colleges, but I hear a lot of people tell me, ‘Don’t go near colleges. They’re so PC.’ I’ll give you an example: My daughter’s 14. My wife says to her, ‘Well, you know, in the next couple years, I think maybe you’re going to want to be hanging around the city more on the weekends, so you can see boys.’ You know what my daughter says? She says, ‘That’s sexist.’ They just want to use these words: ‘That’s racist;’ ‘That’s sexist;’ ‘That’s prejudice.’ They don’t know what the f–k they’re talking about.”
US Weekly has him quoted further:
Asked by Cowherd whether the politically correct climate hurts comedy, the Emmy winner said simply, “Yes it does, yes it does.”

I’ve been saying the same sorts of things for a long time. I love the old comedians like Richard Pryor and George Carlin. I love shows like All in the Family. This stuff doesn’t get done much anymore. Network TV is complete shit, for the most part. Why do you think that is? It’s PC culture run amok. Frankly, it’s one of the major reasons I got involved in GamerGate in the first place. I love gaming, but I also love stand-up comedy, quality television, and movies that take chances and don’t sugarcoat real life complexities and realities. The SJWs would rather feed you propaganda and racial quotas.
Fuck that. I’m glad Seinfeld is coming out and saying it. He’s also one of my favorite comedians, so that makes it all the more sweet. This pussified culture has got to be beaten back. It’s going to take a lot of fight, because we’re up against, in many ways, mentally deranged people. It can be done, however. This isn’t the first or last time we will hear prominent performers criticize this PC disease.
