Theresa May, the prime minister and Conservative Party leader, started the snap election she called heavily favored, but has since seen her lead evaporate in many polls. Most of the late polling has seen things shift back against Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party, however. Tonight, we find out the reality, as voters across the UK make their voices heard.
