WRONG THINK: Fired Google Memo Author Exploring Legal Avenues And People Are Out For His Blood

I understand there’s no reason to not update the site in a week. However, in my defense I didn’t realise so much shit could go down in one week. I was simply doing woman things for once like cleaning and doing laundry when I saw something in my group chats. Well, it was all over twitter but I’m not that great at checking twitter. An engineer at Google, James Damore, wrote an email attacking Google’s ‘politically correct monoculture’. First thing I thought was ‘Lad’ but then I immediately found out Google had fired him under the pretense of breaking the Code Of Conduct. On top of firing him, his information had been released. Wow way to prove him wrong, Google. And now according to CNBC, James Damore is thinking of filing a lawsuit against Google.

In the various articles I was reading to catch up on the news, I came across this Bloomberg piece that had an interview with the former Vice President of Google. Nothing against this lady, but I genuinely thought she was a man at first glance.

She called his manifesto ‘offensive’ and ‘incorrect’.

…but it’s there. It’s insidious. Women of many races and men of colour experience what I call ‘death by a thousand paper cuts’.

And then they go into how women are marginalized in STEM. Funny how I’ve never experienced said discrimination. Well my professors sometimes gives me a hard time but that’s because I’m an asshole.

When things like this happen, it’s so predictable how people are going to react. You know what to expect from ‘marginalized’ folk and SJWs

Definitely read this thread, it’s hilarious.

Because of the injustice that has been shown towards him, James Damore is exploring legal routes.

(James Damore has) submitted a charge to the U.S. National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) accusing Google upper management of trying to shame him into silence

This situation with James Damore has me thinking ‘when do you speak up at work?’. At work, I have a lot of terrorist jokes thrown my way. That’s mostly because I’m not Muslim and I can take a joke. At work, we let a lot of things slide because we want to keep our jobs and advance our careers. I think it’s brave what’s he has done. I know I wouldn’t have said something like that in his shoes. Well, I did tell my boss that we need to stop hiring so many women because the work place is getting catty. But again, I’m an asshole.

Another red pilled white male punished for wrong think. Interesting how they went and proved his point for him. I love to ask people I know: “Would you take race or sex into consideration if you were forming an efficient, competitive team?” Superfluous, physical characteristics should not be deciding factors in employment and you shouldn’t be punished for pointing this out. Also, NPR was nice enough to point out that “only 20% of Google’s technical staff are women” and this is a bad thing and needs to be corrected. Because reasons. It’s not like that other 80% of men were the most qualified for their jobs or anything. Nope. Has to be patriarchy. Google is also refusing to release it’s salaries. That probably has more to do with management making ungodly sums of money than any kind of fictitious pay gap.

I think they’re also being investigated for underpaying (supposedly) women.

They are – they have firmly refused to release their salaries in response yet they are one of the loudest virtue signalers for this “pay gap” myth and the “we must have 50/50 gender parity in the work force.. because diversity!” bullshit.

Hopefully he sues the crap out of them. The memo was actually very polite and tried to extend and olive branch, but Google decided to turn James Damore into a martyr.

I find the timing of the memo to not be a coincidence. Right after Google decided to go full authoritarian on YouTube content the guy tried to warn them of a potential backlash, but his reasoning fell on deaf ears. In my view both platforms are dead when it comes to free speech and controversial content.

    Thought begets Heresy.
    Heresy begets retribution.

  • I have to think very few jobs are worth the price of living in constant fear and submission. Build legitimate skills to make yourself widely marketable and, when relevant, speak your mind.

The road might be a little rockier, but hopefully you’ll wind up on a mountaintop instead of cringing in the gutter. Cowardice erodes the soul.

How long until we find out that Google is participating in the hacks against Gab?
