Before I begin early this morning, I wanted to being you a hilarious story. We’ve talked about safe spaces and trigger warnings before, and I’ve explained how I think they’re killing free speech and open debate. It goes against everything I was taught. Some old school liberals have spoken out about this. They were viciously attacked by the radical progressive SJWs for their efforts. Now, we see just what a joke all this has become. People are getting triggered by the word trigger.
Yea, that’s right. The very term “trigger warning” is now upsetting to some special snowflakes. I saw this last night and just burst out laughing.
I’m not sure how long this insanity has been going on but it made me laugh pretty loud when I read it. I’m ashamed I didn’t think of it myself as a punchline. How many words will these fascists ban before they’re done? I’m sick of them putting all these rules on speech. They do it in order to shape the debate, and frame “gotchas” where someone is ostracized because they said a bad thing that one time. You’ve seen it as many times as I have. The media thrives off this.
Anyway, we have a lot scheduled for today. I’m going to write some news hits, and I might review Ted 2 later on (not for sure, yet). The interview with Mike Cernovich that I announced on Twitter will be up shortly as well. I ask him a few questions about his writing, in particular the new book he’s putting out, Gorilla Mindset. I’ve already been reading it, and I’ll have a review of it up within the next few days.
