Early today, I read a very disturbing piece on the New York Post website about five incredibly sick individuals that had been arrested for child abuse in New Mexico. The police stumbled upon this compound, made out of literal garbage, when searching for a missing 3-year-old. These men had been living with 11 children in what police described as “third world conditions,” and the children, ranging 1 to 15, were severely starved.
Siraj Wahhaj, 40, is one of the men who has been arrested and charged with 11 counts of felony child abuse. However, that’s not his only crime. The 40-year-old is also accused of kidnapping his 3-year-old son Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj from Georgia in December.
According to the Post, the boy’s mother told authorities that Siraj Wahhaj had kidnapped the boy in order to perform an exorcism on him, as he believed the child’s various health issues had to do with him being possessed by the devil. Sadly, the boy was not among the 11 children who were recused. Remains believed to be the boy have been discovered.
Police found Siraj Wahhaj with a loaded rifle, five 30-round magazines and four loaded pistols.
Siraj Wahhaj shares the same name as his father, who is an imam based in Brooklyn and head of the Masjid At-Taqwa in Bedford-Stuyvesant. You know, the same Siraj Wahhaj who is the leader of the Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA) and former vice president of Islamic Society of North America. Oh and he was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and was a character witness in the trial of convicted terror plotter Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman. That one.
I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Oh and can you guess who is an avid supporter of the elder Siraj Wahhaj?

I feel as though I should stop being so surprised when I find out Linda Sarsour comes out in support of a literal terrorist, but somehow she still manages to make me speechless.
