After yesterday’s story about Gawker’s Sam Biddle encouraging the bullying of nerds, Mercedes has decided to pulled all ads from Gawker Media. This may have something to do with the fact that Project Anti Bully has now picked up the story as well. Whatever the reason, I want to personally thank Mercedes-Benz. It takes courage to be the first advertisers to stand up to bullies like Gawker Media. If I had the means, I would be looking into purchasing one of their vehicles. Maybe I can just get a nice hat with their logo on it? Or a polo shirt?

However you decide to honor them, just make sure that you do. It’s important to let these companies know that we support those who support us. We spend money, unlike the SJW cultist Kool-Aid drinkers. That’s why Intel did what they did. It’s the reason Unilever saw the light. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation came to their senses because of it. Who will be the next to realize that it’s time to abandon our corrupt foes?

The last few days have energized me. The have thrown every single fucking thing they can think of at us, but we still keep winning. It’s one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen. PR people would have told you that you were insane if you laid out all the hits we’ve taken, and told them we would still be winning big. It’s because the times have changed. It’s not as easy to sit back from afar and control things from LA or NY. The Internet and it’s connective capability has been our weapon. For instance, the importance of Twitter cannot be underestimated.

We can’t get cocky, though. Movements have had defeat snatched from the jaws of victory before. So, it’s important that we stay in fighting shape. Getting fat and happy is not an option. Stay lean, hungry, and ready to do some damage. This is the best underdog story since Rocky. The only difference is, we don’t just want to go the distance. We want that championship belt.
