Secret Service Says They're "On It" in Regards to Kathy Griffin Trump Beheading Photo (UPDATE)

Secret Service Says They’re “On It” in Regards to Kathy Griffin Trump Beheading Photo (UPDATE)

A large portion of the conversation on Twitter today concerns Kathy Griffin. She posed with a (fake, obviously) severed Donald Trump head, which was drenched in blood. The picture is so graphic that I’m not sure I can post it here due to Adsense regulations. Of course, the bigger sites can get away with such things, but I have to be a bit more careful. The picture is everywhere, though, so I don’t think it’s really needed.

The more interesting part about all this is the fact that the Secret Service has responded to the deluge of complaints lodged with them on Twitter about the photo.

I’m not even saying she should be charged over this stunt. I tend to lean towards no, in fact. But, and this is a big but, if the shoe was on the conservative foot, there would be a ton of calls from the left for the person in question to be sent to jail. Imagine if Milo Yiannopoulos, or some other conservative provocateur, had posed with an Obama head? You know the deal. There would be pandemonium on places like The Huffington Post and Raw Story. The mainstream media would be running with it.

Since it’s some leftist “comedian,” it’s all good. Let that glaring double standard sink in.

REMINDER: Remember what happened to Hank Williams Jr

Hours after country singer Hank Williams Jr. went on a morning talk show and likened President Obama to Adolf Hitler, ESPN announced it had dropped the singer as the opening of this week’s “Monday Night Football.” [Editor’s Note: This ended up being permanent.]

“While Hank Williams Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize he is closely linked to our company through the opening to ‘Monday Night Football,’” the Disney-owned sports cable network said Monday afternoon in its statement.

“We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”
For more than two decades, Williams has been the voice of the “Monday Night Football” theme song.

Williams on Monday morning had compared the recent “golf summit” between Obama and House Speaker John Boehner as “one of the biggest political mistakes ever.”

“It would be like Hitler playing golf with [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu,” Williams said on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends.”

Also, Kathy didn’t used to have any problems with Donald Trump. It’s almost like she’s a phony who is only doing this for attention.

UPDATE: Anderson Cooper has come out and denounced Kathy’s actions, if not her person…

Dafuq? US Secret Service has a Twitter account? Well it’s a good start that they are finally going after leftists after years of being given a relative pass.

I didn’t know who this idiot was before today and after leafing through her wikipedia entry I still have no desire to pay any attention to her going forward. That being said the way the media and the celebrutards have been acting since the election is absolutely creepy as hell. I’m thinking back to the Dubya years and they never got this deranged then and yet here we are less than a year in and they’ve long since topped their record for derangement and keep finding new depths to sink to.

The problem with her little stunt isn’t that it’s offensive albeit there’s an rotten double standard on display but rather that there’s no joke here. There’s no joke, not even an unfunny joke, not even a failed attempt at making a joke…’s just screeching incoherent hatred.

Yup, W Bush was fair game and not much was done about it because it was “popular” but the moment Obama took office it became taboo to criticize the president unless you wanted to be called a racist. Hell, remember how the MSM would release the death tolls of soldiers from the war under Bush but strangely went quiet under Obama, despite there still being quite a few military deaths? It’s kinda been kicked back up now that Trump is president though now instead of being limited to military it seems to be everyone in the world that suffers is all because of Trump.

I’m not all rustled about these pictures. I laugh at mean spirited and gallows things all day everyday*.

But I will say that people comparing this to ISIS beheading videos was extremely clever and that the left doesn’t understand that they don’t have a monopoly on outrage anymore.

*I did laugh at these pictures because they’re not funny or witty. Work harder and kek will approve.

I mentionned it on another blog, but let’s imagine how Kathy Griffin would had reacted if she got a taste of her own medecine? Just imagine what if Sabo who did some signs written “Impeach Maxine Waters” do a beheaded Kathy Griffin….

  • Mr0303

What she did wasn’t a threat, but rather incitement to violence. I don’t think there is any other way to interpret that – she claimed that it’s “art”, but that’s just ass covering. I doubt she’ll face any legal consequences, but she should be publicly ostracised for doing this little stunt and undermining the POTUS.

    • Grust

SJW art is some of the sickest crap I’ve ever seen. And this is coming from me, an amateur.

      • Lost Question

swj art is basically rip off some terrible thing and say, art. in kathy’s instance its rip off a isis style beheading photo.
and then they wonder why people despise and dislike them.

  • SalsaMoose13

Remember the outrage over that one rodeo having their clowns where Obama masks?

  • Danlantic

I reluctantly quote an SJW, John Scalzi, on such matters:

“The fail mode of clever is asshole.”

    • Nathan Housley

And Scalzi is well acquainted with fail…

  • Botiemaster

If someone had done this towards Obama, it’d been career execution on the spot. Gosh, I wonder who’s the more tolerant people. The left, or the right? Hmmm.

Interestlingly enough, even Chelsea Clintion spoke out against Griffin’s tweet.

This is vile and wrong. It is never funny to joke about killing a president.— Chelsea Clinton (@ChelseaClinton) May 30, 2017
