I’ve been spending time with my girlfriend and relaxing today, since she is due to go out of town. So I apologize for the paucity of posts. But I’m gonna make up for that with a couple fresh ones, starting with this story. Earlier tonight, I was alerted by an associate to a SJW editorial that was posted on a site associated with the Infosec Institute. I had never heard of these guys, but they have a bio on their website:

InfoSec Institute is the best source for high quality information security training. We have been training Information Security and IT Professionals since 1998 with a diverse lineup of relevant training courses. In the past 16 years, over 50,000 individuals have trusted InfoSec Institute for their professional development needs!

Well, it sounds like they have a nice operation going. But what’s not nice, is when they run lies about GamerGate, like they did earlier this evening. The SJW lackey responsible for this erroneous report is Kimberly Crawley. I never heard of her either, but she claims to have done reporting on 4chan in the past. She also claims to have rarely ever visited the site, which makes me question said reporting.

Another reason I have doubts about her past work, is because her current work is such shit. It was so bad that former TheRalphRetort.com contributor @br00ke27 took notice. She emailed the editor, and got a prompt reply. Here it is below:

The editor didn’t put up much of a fight, did he? I guess he was thankful that the error-riddled report was able to be pulled so soon. The whole thing is pretty laughable. She tries to claim that /baphomet/ has been deleted from 8chan entirely. If she had read my report, she would have known that it was only wiped and that the board still exists. But she didn’t because she’s a complete idiot. Look at this tweet:

Writing about 8chan without actually visiting the site? Not a good look, Kimberly. The article was so painfully awful, that I saw one or two people suggested that it might be some sort of comedy ruse. If only that were true (cache link to article)!

4chan had the good sense to ban people who were plotting Gamergate activity, such as threats, doxxing, and swatting. Doxxing is releasing private details about a targeted individual. Swatting is when a prank call is made to a police department (usually one that has a SWAT team), to send cops to the address of a victim who has done nothing wrong. It’s intended to scare and intimidate a victim. Both doxxing and swatting are illegal, and with good reason.

So, those Gamergaters left 4chan for Brennan’s 8chan.

None of that ever happened, minus the part about GamerGate leaving 4chan. But we didn’t actually “leave,” we were kicked out by that famous Cuckmaster moot. Also, doxing is not illegal. I’m not sure where the fuck she got that from. This clown is listed as a “security author.” I think all the other members of her claimed profession would be embarrassed to call her a colleague. I’m embarrassed for her and I don’t even know her.

So, to recap, another journo tried to lie about GamerGate. Only this time, they lied so obviously that it fucked them over. It’s one thing to spin and only tell one side of the story. It’s quite another to produce a report filled with as many easily verifiable errors as this one. Kudos to the editor for pulling it so quickly, and to Brooke for spotting it.
