I haven’t done anything on the shooting that took place at a Milo Yiannopoulos event, so this post should rectify that. I was burned out from the inauguration festivities that day, so hopefully you understand. Also, I couldn’t exactly get a beat on what happened…and I’m still not 100% sure about who the shooter was affiliated with. It might be Antifa on Antifa violence, or it might not. One thing I can defintely say is that the guy who got shot was Antifa. That’s been confirmed by their shitty homebase site (“one comrade shot”), as well as this photograph from the scene…

The most hilarious part of this post is not that the man who shot this thug was released, although that did earn a chuckle from me. It’s that he said the guy was some kind of white supremacist. HAHAHA!

The man who surrendered to police in connection with a University of Washington shooting Friday night was released after telling investigators he fired in self-defense during a campus protest, according to two law-enforcement officials briefed on the case.

No other details about any confrontation between him and the critically wounded man were immediately available. But one of the law-enforcement officials said the man who fired the gun claimed he was assaulted before shooting the other man, whom he believed to be some type of white supremacist.

The injured man, 34, was in critical condition Saturday at Harborview Medical Center, following surgery.

UW police offered few details Saturday, saying in a news release that no other suspects were being sought, and that the man who said he fired the gun was released pending further investigation.

There’s also video of the shooting out now, although it’s not as clear as one would like. Still, you can see most of the action thanks to the recording being slowed down and the primary actors getting highlighted.

(Someone said the video didn’t show for them, so here’s a link as well.)

This is an example of why it’s not wise to run up on people when you don’t know their background…which you pretty much never do. They might be packing heat and you could easily end up dead because of it. I guess because it was Washington state, the Antifa thug didn’t expect to catch a hot one, but like I said, you never know.
