It’s been a couple weeks since we’ve heard from our old friend Sam Biddle. Just like Arthur Chu, he can’t seem to quit GamerGate. I guess it’s not as bad as ole Artie, who wrote a column saying he was done with us, went on Twitter and said it, but who nonetheless disregarded both proclamations to instead devote every waking hour to thwarting our cause. This post has nothing to do with Chu. I just wanted to remind you what a flake he is.

As I was saying, the last time we saw the notorious bully Biddle, he was handing a propaganda victory to ISIS terrorists. What does he have in mind for the encore? More propaganda of course, although this time, it’s the anti-GamerGate variety.

I’ll let Biddle speak for himself. There’s not much text in the post, so I’ll just put it all right here. There’s also a quote from Anita The Fraud in there:

Anita Sarkeesian became an involuntary protagonist of the GamerGate saga (and one of its top targets) after merely criticizing the way women are portrayed in videogames. That was last year. Today, one single week’s worth of Twitter for her is a horrible, menacing hell.

It’s hard to believe that this is only seven days of vitriol, but it’s also never been so easy to try to harass someone out of existence:
Ever since I began my Tropes vs Women in Video Games project, two and a half years ago, I’ve been harassed on a daily basis by irate gamers angry at my critiques of sexism in video games. It can sometimes be difficult to effectively communicate just how bad this sustained intimidation campaign really is. So I’ve taken the liberty of collecting a week’s worth of hateful messages sent to me on Twitter. The following tweets were directed at my @femfreq account between 1/20/15 and 1/26/15.
Sarkeesian includes a very, very long list of screenshots. I’m only including some of them here—go to her post for the full (dreadful) experience.

He goes on to show a bunch of horrible screenshots with all kinds of hate and violence directed towards Ms. Sarkeesian, but there’s one thing the Biddle the Bully forgot to mention: not one of those tweets had the GamerGate tag. I can also tell you, as someone who monitors the GamerGate community on Twitter every single day, that no one on that list looked at all familiar to me. The entire premise of the article (titled Criticize GamerGate as a Woman, and Your Twitter Mentions Look Like This) is a complete fabrication.

So we have a Gawker entry dedicated to what your Twitter looks like if you are a female and criticize GamerGate that shows a shitload of harassment, but zero evidence that any of it was perpetrated by GamerGate. I guess I should be used to this by now, but Biddle and his wretched company have provided one of the more stunning examples of misinformation that I’ve seen over the last five months. Gawker hates gamers, and they prove it day after day.
